Can I cancel any time?

Yes — cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the current billing month. Active bookings continue to settle through Stripe normally. Where you cancel depends on how you subscribed:

• Subscribed on the website: billing portal linked from your dashboard.
• Subscribed in the iOS app: iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Racket Coach → Cancel.
• Subscribed in the Android app: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Racket Coach → Cancel.

How does the billing work? (auto-renewal disclosure)

Racket Coach is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Solo coach is £19.99/month; coaching-company tiers are £75 / £135 / £275 per month. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. New solo subscribers get a 14-day free trial; the first charge happens at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Company subscriptions bill from day one.

Payment is taken via the channel you signed up through:

• Website: Stripe (card or BACS Direct Debit). VAT-exclusive — UK VAT not charged because MangyByte Ltd is below the registration threshold.
• iOS app: billed via Apple as merchant of record, charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Includes UK VAT (Apple collects and remits to HMRC).
• Android app: billed via Google Play as merchant of record, charged to your Google Play account. Includes UK VAT (Google collects and remits to HMRC).

What's the 50p per booking for?

It's our flat platform fee per confirmed booking — covers infrastructure, support and a small margin. You absorb it (it doesn't show up to the player), so the price your players see is exactly what you advertised.

Stripe charges its standard card-processing fee separately, directly from your account — same as any merchant taking card payments. UK domestic ~1.5% + 20p, EU ~2.5% + 20p, non-EEA ~3.25% + 20p, BACS DD 1% capped at £2. We don't touch that.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Yes — Stripe Connect is how you receive payouts directly. Onboarding takes about 5 minutes. We never hold your money.

What about VAT?

If you're VAT-registered (UK threshold £90,000/yr) we handle VAT-aware invoicing for you — including reverse charge, zero-rated, exempt and reduced-rate options.

What about the iOS / Android apps?

Both apps are native — iOS in Swift / SwiftUI, Android in Kotlin / Jetpack Compose. Not WebView wrappers. Native push notifications via APNs / FCM, card payments via Stripe PaymentSheet. Same login + same features as the website. You can run your whole coaching business from either.

Subscribing from inside an app uses that platform's billing (Apple StoreKit on iOS, Google Play Billing on Android) per platform store policy. Subscribing on the website uses Stripe directly. Whichever channel you pick, your subscription is the same product and unlocks the same features — manage it through the channel you used to subscribe.

I have a Coach Finder listing without subscribing — what's the difference?

The Coach Finder is free for everyone. To publish bookable session types and take payments through Racket Coach you need an active subscription.

How do company tiers work? (Starter / Pro / Unlimited)

The tier is the entire platform cost for your whole team. Coaches under your company don't pay anything individually. The owner pays one tier price and that covers everyone: branded microsite, custom domain, owner dashboard with per-coach stats, single Stripe Connect payout, Owner / Admin / Coach roles where sub-coaches see no money information.

Tier choice depends on coach headcount including the owner: Starter fits up to 5, Pro up to 11, Unlimited has no cap. Upgrade or downgrade any time — change applies on the next bill. All bookings route to the company's single Stripe Connect account; the owner controls payouts.

You don't have to be a coach yourself to set up a company. A club secretary or academy administrator can register and invite real coaches via join code.

Does joining a company affect my £19.99 coach subscription?

Yes — when you join a company you're covered by their tier and don't need a personal £19.99 sub. If you were already on £19.99 via the website (Stripe), we automatically set your sub to cancel at the end of the current billing month so you're not charged again. If you subscribed in the iOS or Android app, you'll need to cancel that yourself in App Store / Play Store subscription settings (we'll show you a prompt with a direct link).

If you later leave the company, you can subscribe again as a solo coach to keep taking your own bookings.

What about a custom web address like mangybyte.com?

Company subscribers can buy a web address through us — we set it all up for you, and it renews automatically each year. We support .com, .co.uk, .uk, .net, .org. The yearly cost is passed straight through (typically £8–12 for a .co.uk, £10–15 for a .com) and charged to the same card as your subscription on a separate annual line.
